Individualized functional dentistry according to the concepts of Rudolf Slavicek and the Vienna School of Interdisciplinary Dentistry
In my talk I will present clinical applications of interdisciplinary dentistry for oral rehabilitation according to Prof. Rudolf Slavicek. I will show how VieSID concepts lead to the desired aesthetics by improving stomatognathic functions. In my experience as a prosthodontist and orthodontist, the harmony of occlusion with respect to skeletal and articular structures guarantees the long-term stability of the masticatory system. Based on an accurate diagnosis and in cooperation with physiotherapists, I treat the patient's bite and observe benefits in the entire individual.
